Olympus Stylus Tough-8000 is a 12 mpx digital camera. With a 12 mpx digital camera you could do a lot of things like taking pics that could be printed even of poster sized lengths. This cool camera looks pretty stylish. This is something that attracted me the most and made me write this review.
The zooming power is 3.6x and it is more than a typical zooming power. The zooming is a optical dual image stabilized one. So, this would allow you to zoom to a great extent to the scene and then take the pics effectively, and brilliantly.
There won’t be problems of blur whatsoever with Olympus Stylus Tough-8000. Thanks to Dual Image Stabilization. Whether the subject upon which you are concentrating is moving or your hands itself is shaking, the pic won’t get affected at all! People would call you an expert photographer, though the real expert is Olympus Stylus Tough-8000.
I would say this is surely a tough camera. It is crush proof !! Yup, I mean it. It can withstand a pressure of upto 110 kg. So, it won’t get broken even if you drop it from a height of 6.6 foot.
Olympus Stylus Tough-8000 will allow you take pics even under water. It performs well under water just like it does in lands. Not just that, it is capable of telling us at what depth a particular shot was taken . That’s because of the built in manometer. You can go upto 33 feet under water and take shots pretty effectively.
One of the unique features found in this model is that it is with an “OR” button, upon pressing which, features like Shadow Adjustment, shot preview etc gets automatically activated. The Beauty mode is also something unique to Olympus Stylus Tough-8000. Once the mode is selected, it will automatically correct the blemishes and other technical details on your subject’s face.
Olympus Stylus Tough-8000 can be bought from Amazon for a price of just $399 $325
